Tough break, man, it is a little ridiculous that people coming into the country by totally legal means are being hassled more than some of the people coming in illegally. Though in the defense of the Mexicans and Ghanaians and Haitians, they wouldn't be able to jet off to Belize if they were kicked out of the country. They'd have to go back home, and by now they'd probably be living in fear of starvation or living in fear of violence or not living at all.

Obviously I'm not trying to say that what they did to you and your family is anything less than total bullshit, but there are things to consider here...
